INaWORD has recently concluded a 2-week intensive training programme for 1st year students at the SSN College of Engineering in Kalvakkam, Chennai. We were given the mandate to conduct introductory courses in German, Spanish and French – the classes were held through the day over the course of 2 weeks in August.
For most of the students, they were learning their language of choice for the first time, and our trainers used a mix of traditional classroom instruction with activity-based learning – there were songs, games, role plays and a host of other interactive elements in the classes.
We have been completely overwhelmed by the enthusiasm with which the SSNCE students took up the learning, and by the effusive feedback we have received about their experiences.
A big hand from INaWORD to all the SSNCE students for their effort and interest. We are confident they will be encouraged to take their learning to the higher levels in the near future and will demonstrate the same enthusiasm and commitment that it has been our privilege to witness.
