INaWORD issues certificates to learners at the end of each level, based on an internal assessment of the learner’s skill levels.
The INaWORD Flair and Affinity foreign language learning programmes, apart from developing verbal and related skills, also prepare you to appear for internationally recognized certificate examinations including:
DELF A1, A2, B1 & B2 for French
Start Deutsch A1, A2, B1 & B2 for German
DELE A1, A2, B1 & B2 for Spanish.
JLPT N5 & N4 for Japanese.
HSK 1, 2 & 3 for Mandarin Chinese.
It is possible for learners to appear for all these examinations in India, in Chennai itself.
From 2011 onwards, INaWORD has been appointed as Chennai’s Exclusive Official Examination Centre for the Spanish DELE examination by Instituto Cervantes, representing the Ministry of Education in Spain. The annual DELE exams are held at the INaWORD Adyar Centre every November.
The European Languages examination levels are defined by guidelines as laid down by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which describe what our French, German and Spanish learners should be able to do in reading, listening, speaking and writing at each level.
More information on what each of these levels means is explicitly laid out in
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_European_Framework_of_Reference_for_Languages.
Methodologies, levels and content in the foreign language training courses at INaWORD are aligned to the CEFR (for European languages), HSK (for Chinese) and JLPT (for Japanese) guidelines so that learners are ready to appear for these examinations at the appropriate times.
