INaWORD conducted an A1-level intensive course in German for a group of 20 HCL Technologies employees at the HCL Technologies Ambattur Industrial Estate office (AMB – 4) between June and September 2013. Held on all working day mornings, the German classes were conducted as a 100-hour course, aligned to international A1 (beginner) level certification requirements, and building in elements of customized vocabulary that the participants required to use in work interaction with German-speaking clients.
On completion of the course, 15 members of the group appeared for the A1-level “Start Deutsch 1” international examination, in a bid to acquire the A1 certification in German. The results were outstanding – a 100% pass percentage – all candidates cleared the examination, with several of them achieving the highest possible grade.
INaWORD is proud of this outstanding achievement and of its ongoing association with HCL Technologies, with whom we have engaged on a number of foreign language training assignments.
INaWORD regularly sends up a number of its students for the CEFR examinations in French, German and Spanish, and has been able to consistently deliver a very high pass percentage.
